About Us

The Burnaby Amateur Radio Club is dedicated to serving the Amateur Radio (HAM) community and the general public in Burnaby, BC and throughout the Lower Mainland.

Our members volunteer their time and enthusiasm at community events and participate in simulation exercises giving us valuable experience in preparing for emergency communication needs in the Metro Vancouver area.

Our meetings are held on the first and third Friday of each month (except July and August). Guests ... both hams and non-hams ... are always welcome at any of our meetings!

Reminder – Buyers Beware

In the past 12 months we've been alerted to two suspicious/fraudulent sellers who have submitted ads here and to other Ham classified bulletin boards.

We have removed the ads as soon as we were notified, but would like to remind you to please exercise caution when dealing with anyone you don't know and do your due diligence as with any financial transaction. If there are any 'red flags' or something doesn't seem right, trust your instinct.

If you believe that any ad posted here is suspicious or fraudulent please contact us immediately. If you have been involved in a fraudulent transaction please contact your local authorities and then contact us.
